Here I am, all dressed up in the cute poodle skirt I have always wanted, and ready to go to the charity sock hop. My hair is pulled back in a black and white polka dot scarf, and my black and white saddle shoes are tapping along as I walk through the foyer. Have I mentioned before that Johnny is not really into dancing and his favorite charity is Jackie? So, you can pretty much guess what happens when he sees me in my hoppin' 1950's attire. That's right. He drags me into the dining room, kicking in my leather shoes, and chair ties me with rope. I, of course, am complaining, because I am worried we will be late! But, Johnny quickly remedies that situation with a thick over the mouth gag. What is a gal like me suppose to do. Well, if history is any indication, I have a better shot of making it to the sock hop if I just go with it. So, I put on a mischievous happy face as Johhny completes his artistry- rope chest harness, arms behind back, and legs tied at the knees and ankles with the ankles tied to the chair. When he's all done stringing me up, I oblige him by struggling around cheerfully. Wow, it actually feels like I have gone back in time! I doubt the sock hop will be as much fun. Plus, I would have to take my authentic shoes off. I guess I'll just stay right here and let Johnny continue to indulge his favorite charity!
